Lease is up...
Hi,
I am looking for thoughts...My Nissan Murano lease is up soon and the wife wants a new vehicle...I have about $350-400 a month to spend.
Def. want a SUV or cross-over type.
Any suggestions?
I personally like the Murrano allot. Almost bought another, but decided to go with the IS.
Thoughts on the new Muranno lease or what I should pay for a left over 07' or 08' lease?
Thanks for your feedback in advance.

When you say your wife wants a "new vehicle", does that mean just another new Murano or another vehicle altogether?
If the latter, there are a number of good vehicles in that class and category you and she can choose from, including the Honda Pilot/CR-V, Toyota Highlander/RAV-4, Mitsubishi Outlander/Endeavor, Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner, Ford Edge, Mazda CX-7, and Subaru Tribeca, Outback, or Forester. If she doesn't need the extra carrying space of an SUV, I think she would find the Outback the most pleasant, car-like, and easy to drive, especially in the L.L. Bean Version.

Sorry. Dumb of me.
I forgot to mention some of the best deals out there, in price, warranty, and build quality all combined....the Hyundai Santa Fe, Veracruz , and Tucson, and the Kia Sportage and Sorento. Of those, I like the Santa Fe best, and I think it is worth your wife looking at.

I would look at the Mazda CX7. If she likes the look of the Murano, I think she'll be partial to the Mazda as well.

Toyota also has the Highlander...
Something smaller, then that and I would look into the CR-Vs and Rav4s.
Wow that Venza does look nice...

Taken from here.

I can't give you a strict dollar figure (it often varies by dealership), but try and find one that allows a relatively lienient early termination feature if your wife decides she doesn't like it after a year or two. Many lease deals don't allow early terminations without a heavy penalty. Also make sure the mileage (usually 10,000-15,000 miles a year) and wear-and-tear clauses are reasonable, without undue penalties.
