there are two velcro strips on the back side..

where are they normally placed in the trunk on a Lexus? Is there a velcro strip somewhere in the trunk?

 

It's different for every car or truck from the Lexus I've had over the years, so you're going to have to be more specific which one you are inquiring about e.g. In a 2013 RX, it just "hangs" on the carpeted side of the rear Cargo area... I moved mine down under the floor mat with the spare tire.

 

I thought It looks pretty neat, I bought one to put in my other car.
Not sure what is in it because it has a sealed tag on it!

 

The velcro simply sticks to the sidewall carpeting of the trunk.

Smack it on the side near the taillamp assembly...

 

I usually just smack it on the side of the trunk, it will stick to anywhere that has the carpet surface.

stick it to the sidewall of the trunk. Its lined with the material that velcro loves. I have mine propping open my amplifier cover so the amp can cool off faster and easier in the AZ heat
