If the 3IS has a similarly aggressive front design, I'll be very happy.

WOW! Now that looks nice! A nice evolution from the previous LS....unlike the GS.

Released before the GS, it must have been designed when Lexus hadn't really decided on the next design theme, and then they saw the CT team's design and decided to make the shape more cohesive and call it the new theme. It's also why you don't see the CT in the short video of all the spindle'd models during the LF-LC debut.

we will see in 5 days if it really looks that much like the current ls (which means -- facelift? hahahaha... having fun here)
You called it, is a big facelift. I always thought that will be the case too.

My prediction is spindle grille, lights, BMW interior, firmer suspension for better driving dynamic, everything else carry over.

The new S-Class will kill this. Is good, time for a change, everything is a cycle, Lexus was up, MB down. Now MB is up, Lexus will be down.

The next 5LS should be awesome. Awesome-ness usually happens every other generation. Happened many times now: Awesome/Sucky/Awesome: W140/220/221, 993/996/997, R32/R33/R34, E30/E36/E46, F355/F360/F430, E39/E60/F10.........etc.

i am not so sure that exterior wise, new S class will be bigger change than this facelift... it probably wont.

same here, i brought this up a while back too but i don't know enough people behind mb to know for sure. the w222 looks somewhat similar to w221 now, unlike from w140 to w220 to w221

If the LS is too close to the looks of the GS and ES, the ES will canibalize the LS market as well.

very risky what lexus is doing.
the ES will definitely sell better than the GS and LS it always has. not being able to tell the difference btwn. the GS and ES ???????

liking the aggressive front end of the supposedly 2013 LS F-Sport. many might not agree but if it's suppose to be an F-Sport it should be somewhat aggressive. love the tail lights also.

Sucks its just a small refresh, but I like the styling MUCH BETTER than the GS!!!!

IMO besides the LFA, the CT is the best styled current Lexus model by far.

1st thing came to my mind when I saw the new LS pics
