Pole Position
While I was going to Vegas this weekend up 15N up past San Bernadino, I saw a few Toyco proto vehicles covered up in camouflage. One was a RAV4 from the boxy look and high stance, another was a stranger vehicle with a profile I had not seen before. Looking at the blue car in the picture, it matches that car, because of the running lights down below (similar to how it is implemented on the Camry now). Unfortunately, it was in the middle of the night (around 5AM), so I couldnt get any pictures, but I assume they were going to Vegas for hot weather testing (it peaked around 115F this weekend).

Does Toyota have professional car designers? Or just a bunch of kids with no idea what they're doing? Because it seems that way.

^^ The front styling on the top rendering is awful. Very doubtful Toyota would spring that on us.
The bottom rendering however isn't too bad. Nice conventional headlights at least.
Renderings never seem to hold true anyway.

Not a fan of the blacked out c-pillar or the blacked out strip as in the 2016 RX. Neither front end is attractive. The green one is too squinty and the blue one is a bit conventional imho.

tho...some people will automatically hate anything labelled "PRIUS" -- while the i3 looks just kcufing gorgeous right?
I like that idea
If they could ever shoehorn the 2.5 into the CT i'm confident with less weight it could be far more potent while still delivering great mpg from a stronger and less strained powertrain
CTh
1.8L I4 134 total system hp
3130lbs
43/40/42
ESh
2.5L I4 200 total system hp
3,660lbs
40/39/40

It's what the CT should've been in the first place IMO.

New USA Spyshots

Autoblog's got some fresh spyshots - looks like two different wheels again. The larger wheel size looks more aggressive than the current 17" alloys. It almost looks like the 458's 18" star-design alloys.
