^ I was wondering when Mitsubishi was either going to kill the Eclipse or redesign it. This last model was just a joke compared to the rest!

I have not heard of the R class being cancelled here. In fact, it was just facelifted. I don't think MBZ would go through the trouble of releasing a car for only one model year.

I believe we had a thread here on CL with that article. R-Class was supposed to be discontinued here in the states but still available worldwide.

I think it's only a matter of time until Mitsubishi pulls out of the US completely. They don't even cross anyone's mind anymore when deciding on a car purchase.

And what a short life for the HS. Lexus's only true failure. Too bad.

Lol, it's funny you say that right now.

My dad and I just purchased a 99 Mitsubishi Montero Sport on Thursday for beating around off road. A decent little SUV, considering it has 275k miles on it. Ran like **** on friday, but we discovered that the coil that fires cylinders 2 and 5 had a loose connection. Now it's a fun little bugger.

But no, I wouldn't buy a new Mitsubishi. Do they still sell electronics here in the US? Our last 2 big screens have been Mitsubishi's. Seems like I don't see them at any of the stores anymore.
