Default 5th-gen LS spied on the road

This was posted on ClubLexus Facebook an hour ago but somehow I'm not seeing a discussion here so I thought I'd post it.

Under all that camo it looks just like an Avalon, Camry etc... I'll wait for a clearer picture.

Yeah but at least we get to see the spindle grille with horizontal slats (which means it isn't an F-Sport model), the headlights that appear to be on (or simply reflecting light?), the rather unimaginative wheel style, and the huge wheel gap in the front.

It has "that" potential to look good. Stop hating.

I'm not seeing LS from the angle of the A pillar. The front fender well to door distance seems short for most RWD layouts. Like one FB reply, looks like Nissan. Need more pics.

The profile doesn't look good, looks like an Avalon.

I'm more curious about the power trains. I'm sure an LS350 will eventually bow, and a carry over 460 seems expected. It would be nice if the Sport actually utilized the 5.0 V8 rather than have just paddles, IS-F tranny and brembo brakes

Always hard to tell from this kind of picture, but first impressions: looks incredibly boxy and far less elegant than the 4th-gen LS.

If that is really the outer shape of the 5LS, I would rather have a 4LS!

I guess we'll wait and see until the Camo is off finally. If this is even an LS!

Covered up LS? Must be an Avalon...or a Lincoln Towncar...

Looks like the new ES still under cover. Rims are also current gen ES. Wheels looks too small to be testing on an LS. hmmmmm
