No that can't be fix. Sure you can open up the exhaust on a turbo car, but it would never have the clear scream of a NA motor. You can make it loud, but it won't be clear.
If you think about it, the exhaust blades in the turbo's exhaust housing is blocking the exhaust flow, thus the exhaust would never have a clear path.
Think about all the best sounding cars in the world, none of them are turbocharged.
The MP4-12C even got a flat plane crank, it still doesn't sounds good because the turbos are in the way.
Henry: Did you mount a radar detector? If so how did you tap "switched" power cable to hard wire it?
is someone in the s class market too?
i didn't do a hardwire on my V1, i just connect the power cord when i use it. but up there you have the whole control unit for homelink, dome lights, all of those should be easy power to tap on for the hardwire. that's what i used for my is300 and gs400
Well I wanted to avoid cutting and splicing and opening that area and wanted to simply a straight cable to the 12v socket in the glovebox.... not sure if that is switched or if it continues to drain battery after car is off.
lol i didn't even know there is a 12v socket in the glove box. thought it's only in the ashtray and the center console. somehow i am under impression that the 12v is switched, but not 100%
Yes it is switched! where do you mount the radar when you are using it ? Don't the coating on back window prevent the detector from picking radar from the back?
