Angry Certified Car problems

Hi, Everyone.
I just purchased a Certified 2008 IS250, after two days been driving the car, I realized the XED light were customized by previous owner and used aftermarket parts.(the car originally were not supposed to have XED lights) the sales from the dealer told me the car originally come with the Nav and XED, but the XED words never found on any paperwork of the vehicle. at this point, the sales knows what I want and did find me the car that I want, which is this vehicle, but the only problem is, me and him never noticed the XED were customized before I purchased it. Especially it`s a certified pre-owner vehicle, and were inspected by them, but they never found out the XED were customized by using aftermarket parts.
am I considered scammed? what options do I have? please give me some advises, thank you.

I'd say consider yourself lucky that its something you didn't have to do because the halogen lights in the is sucks compared to any hid's whether it be stock or aftermarket. I have two aftermarket kits in to different cars, and bout have been reliable and trouble free

thank you for the fast reply, so you mean I should just keep what it is? the aftermarkets pair is better than the manufacture one? because right now, I`m trying to talk to the dealer and see if they can replace a pair of manufacture HID to the car, but I doubt it. thank you.

Somoene correct me if i'm wrong here...but the halogen projectors are different than the HID projectors. HID projectors are designed for the intensity of HID light, halogen projectors usually aren't. I would ask the dealer to replace your headlights with the HID version and correct the mistake... HID's in a halogen projector wont preform the same.

Over the longterm, I'd say most aftermarket lights are going to be more troublesome than standard lights. There's a reason why modded cars have a lower resale value and dealers stay away from them. I'd make a stink.

if the car was marketed as having the OEM HID then you have a case if they are aftermarket HID/conversion.

if it was marketed as having normal halogen headlights, then you got a free upgrade.

I installed a HID kit in a '06 IS250 AWD.The light output was better but no AFS and leveling.Blinded people when going over bumps and dips even after lowing headlight aim.
The HIDs fom the factory are better and legal.
The HID kits are illegal but like tint, not too many if any tickets are issued.
I traded that car in too without the dealer knowing I had a HID kit installed.

If your car came from the facroty with halogen lights, i say keep them, if your car came from the factory with HID's the PO just switched out the bulbs to geta different color, i'm assuming to get a more blue color, and in that case i would ask for the stock bulb's. It really depends on a few things such as how it was installed and what was installed
