At that point, authorities should notify ALL car shops within the region that could work on that car to be on the lookout for it and to report it. Problem solved.

I'm surprised it could drive for any kind of distance after that kind of impact. Shouldn't the radiator be pulverized?

I was going to say much the same thing. Incredible that it was in any kind of running condition. Kill the radiators, fluid leaks (cooling or oil), tear away the pan, any of those happen (and many more I'm sure) and that things toast especially with turbos. Guess it's more reliable than what the owners on the GTR formus would have us believe!

judging from the pics, seems like the car was dead but the driver got away? but how hard to trace it back to the owner?
