Damn that's still pretty crazy even then just looking at the extent of the damage on the front side. It looks like it should have been shooting up sparks if it was dragging that far!

Either way, that GT-R took the damage very well - especially if the driver got away.

Let's not give too much credit here to the GT-R. It performed very well for such high speed collisions, but the GT-R did not move away under its own power. The car at that point was dead and it moved via momentum. Otherwise, crazy video and I hope that driver got the consequences for such a stunt.

If you look at the aftermath photos of the GT-R you will see that simple physics prevent the car from driving on. The right front wheel is either bent out of line or gone completely. But that's completely irrelevant to the post. This fool could have done far more that just destroy several cars. At the bare minimum his license should be revoked for life.

Maybe he should have blamed it on a stuck throttle?

It's hard to tell who's wheel it is. But if you look closely at the second part of the video it looks like the wheel comes off the car he twas passing. Something flies off the passed car at about 15 seconds into the video.
