Default Top Gear: M3 vs ISF

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlRv2...&feature=inbox

^For 3 months, I've been defending the Lexus name and the ISF against the BMW M3 (Started since Page 13).

My username is DaftofWar, and it's hard arguing against these people.

The latest comment I received is this:

"@DaftofWar

1. I bet you never even drove anything close to a ISF let alone m3, so quit talking **** big boy.

2. Sure but its not M3, even with more HP and Torque

3. Yamaha building the engine is the reason why it doesn't have 'lexus reliablity,'

4. You obviously don't visit clublexus where people are returning these cars in like hotcakes. Funny how u talk about reliability, when M3 has less problems then ISF according to JDpower and deltareview sites

5. Bmw wont kill you

Jamzkangster 4 hours ago"

And that's a comment to a comment I made towards this other person.

Ugh, I don't know what to say. Especially towards points #3 and #4.

Does anyone here even comment/argue with people on youtube, or am I the only one making a hobby of this?

IS-F's are mostly bullet proof. I know because I own one.

And the 2011 versions have leveled the playing field as far as handling is concerned.

Why would anyone pay that much for a V8 stuffed in a Camry. Sheesh.

ISF is a sweet car, but from what they are saying is no different then what some of the member on this site say about other non lexus cars, you have to ignore it, otherwise posting on the internet becomes a full time job, and I don't have the time

Don't worry, there are so many people appreciate such a nice sports car as IS-F. M3 is a nice car, but once I got into the cabin and looked at the interior design, I wouldn't consider it a car I would actually pay to own. Afterall, you spend most of your time INSIDE the car, not outside staring at it. BMW owners, especially 3-series ones, are super arragont. Their mindset are: If your car is faster, it must not be as "connected" as ours. If your car handles better than mine, it doesn't feel as comfortable. If it does both better than mine, let's see the price tag of yours, I bet yours cost twice as much. I want to see how many E9X M3 still left on the road in fifteen years, if I could live that long. Yeah I have heard that the reliability of M3 is pretty good, probably the best in BMW lineup, but it came out in 08, not long enough to prove anything.
