Default Just saw a Toyota Alphard

Just saw one of these badass vans in CA. How is that possible? It had Washington plates.

The latest-gen Alphard is produced with LHD too now, so it's entirely possible to import it to the US.

But this one was RHD. Man I haven't geeked out about seeing a car in a while. And this was over a van.

It's not uncommon to import vehicles.

Probably easier to import into WA than CA...

(I have no idea, just speculation)

easy, just drive it from Japan, head to Alaska, and go south, steal a WA plate and you're set

it's ok. when he sees how much it is to register here, he' ll just drive back

but i don't think you can register the car unless it passes bunch of regulations?

My cousin owns one in Hong Kong. Superb van...if they only sold these kind of minivans instead of the stuff we have now!
