It's a light. Presumably for Euro rear fog lamp use or something.
I think this car looks gorgeous. Supposed to preview the next generation USDM Escape and Euro market Kuga.

i see some land rover design cues. doesn't look japanese to me. there is no such thing as japanese design. it's a myth.

Back does have a bit of Hyundai styling going on, but overall very clean and elegant!
Ford is really starting to become the anti-Hyundai. Clean, modern, and elegant designs that don't look busy
