what do you mean looks the same? Front end is the new Tundra. Rear taillights look similar in style to the next Highlander. Looks like it'll be a clean SUV. Can't wait to see the future development!

Definitely not either. The LC has already been seen and this certainly isn't it. 4Runner is still another few months out.

it looks more SUV ish than the older model

the older model looked a bit tapered and too soccer-mom-y.

Not bad...hood needs to be longer, its not proportional... reminds me of the ugly new durango and nissan's large suv

Considering that this thing is going to be cheaper than the Land Cruiser, and is already obviously better looking, I don't know how they are going to sell both especially since they are going to be released within the same few months. The new Land Cruiser and LX both look pretty terrible, and this new Sequoia seems to look awesome, and considering all things I wouldn't be surprised if this spells the last generation of LC in America. The ugly duckling, smaller, more expensive Land Cruiser will probably be selling on heritage and nothing more.

The LX probably needs to be careful here too...this thing will have the same engine, more room, and better looks.

Sequoia > LX and LC, IMO

But the LC and LX have better drivetrain/amenities then the Sequoia. Sequoia will continue to be the cheapest of the three. What I am really curious about is whether there will be a hybrid version. A truck this big needs a hybrid system imo.
