Holden is GM Australia. The Holden Commadore was the Pontiac G8, G8 GT, and G8 GXP. It is also the Chevy Caprice in U.A.E. (that's why the Chevy emblems) There are off and on rumors of them redoing the Commadore as a Chevy http://www.motortrend.com/features/a...evy/index.html and they are supposed to definatly be selling as a Police car. It is the same seies chassis as the Camaro, the Zeta series.

It is. Holden makes all four in Australia. Vauxhall VXR-G.B., Pontiac G8 - U.S.A., Chevrolet Caprice and Lumina-U.A.E. and Holden Commodore-Aus. Vauxhall and Holden are RHD. All four of these are Commodore's. Vauxhall does make other car's in G.B. and I think some are German Opel's. I'm not sure where the other U.A.E Chevrolets are made. I looked up Chevrolet UAE and found Chevrolet Arabia. It lookes like they supply 11 Arabian Nations with GM vehicles, American, German and Australian manufactured as Chevrolets

Correct, I was kinda excited to see what they were going to do when they first mentioned the revival of the GTO; bummed out when all they did was port a vehicle from overseas with very minor changes.
