Simple question...what would u do with 40k?

(cars hover around 40k...not exact...of course depends on the car but most can be found around 40k now)

 

Since I already have an IS350 (w/F-Sport type treatment), I would go with LS460.

 

i'm kinda surprised no RX's were listed as an option. that would've been my first choice, since my mom loves LUV's. but this was a tossup for me. nothing beats the performance of the F. the CT looks pretty good to me, but i'm not sure if i can see myself or my folks in one. the other option that i was looking at was the loaded 09 ES 350. one of the most luxurious sedans IMO. there are some really enticing choices there.

 

Was at the dealer looking at something else and came across a 2008 GX for about 37k, so thats the winner......

 

I'd add $5K and get a loaded '11 IS350 AWD.

 

Fully loaded CPO LS460 for me. Can't beat Lexus CPO warranty.

 

I thought about the LS, but it really is a boat of a car, lol. I don't think i would do another IS... it's just a bit too small for me. I think i would opt for the GS 450h.

 

I would be tempted by the 07 LS but the reality is its to big for me, so 09 GS350 would get my $$'s from that list.

For us, the contenders would be the '07 LS 460 or '06 LS430. Taking into account insurance, the 430 would get the overall nod.

 

I cant decide between the GS450h and IS350 F-Sport. I think i'm moving toward the GS because of its a good combo of speed and luxury.
