Maybe? Just maybe...... Look at the common place of all these magazines on the shelf this month.

 

I was at barnes and noble and took this pic a second ago, by the way.

 

So, what is the root of all these stories? Or, did they have a sale on that symbol this month?

 

I wonder how many of those are from the same (or more likely, two) publishers.

 

So what exactly is going on? That is odd.

 

Probably a dramatic way, on the covers, to call attention to the upcoming CAFE and emission standards for 2015-2016. They're hoping that it will cause more people to buy the copies off the shelves.

Car magazines, even enthusiast ones, are in buisness to make money. In these days of the Internet, it has obviously cut doen on the number of paper copies sold. Even non-profit Consumer Reports now restricts some of the info you can take directly off its web site.

 

All eight of those mags were saying "will we be banned?" due to performance regulations coming into law. It's all engines, lexus included.

 

A buzz that nobody seems to care about.

Someone messed with the magazines. Some of them aren't in the right spots.
