Cool Toyota Scion FT-86 G-Sport Concept Car debut at 2010 Australian Motor Show

pics from http://www.FT86club.com

Turbo FT-86 by Toyota's Gazoo division.

Really hope this thing comes as a Toyota and not a SCION.

This does look more like a Scion than anything. But this is what Toyota needs to bring the sportiness back. Love the rear btw.

Man what is taking Toyota so long to finalize the production version? It looks pretty much ready to go! Even the interior looks ready:

from the front and sides, it looks like the 370z and from the back, it looks like the GTR.

steering wheel - looks kinda Scion-ish
speedo - what is that thing, like 8" in diameter? I'll take a modern analog tach/digital speedo, please

This is definitely going to be a Scion unfortunately. And we will be making threads about it for almost 2 more years before it hits the dealerships...

does anybody know anything about the engine theyre going to use? I read somewhere that Toyota was suppose to use Subaru's 2.0T (260hp) and they r replacing it wit 2.5..

^ Subie STI engine will be an option...that is confirmed. It may also have a TT instead of just a single turbo.
