I found the following info on the Gazoo Racing website:
After joining the company in 1980, he was put in charge of sales and planning in Japan and overseas.
In 1998, he oversaw product planning for the original Lexus RX (known as the Harrier in Japan).
He also participated in planning for the launch of the Lexus brand in the Japanese market.
He was posted to New Zealand from 1988 to 1990 and in the United States (Los Angeles) from 2003 to June 2008.
In July 2008 he has been appointed to his current position (General Manager of LEXUS Product & Marketing Planning Division), where he is in charge of global product planning, pricing and sales for the Lexus brand.
