I've had State Farm for over 30 years. My family has had State Farm for over 50 years. However, they recently doubled our homeowners deductable. My agent wants to discuss it with me.

A co-worker was recently dropped by his homeowners insurance company. They visited his house, which they said they do every three years, and decided that his peeling exterior paint was a hazard because chips could blow off and injure someone in the eye. (He's redoing an old home and is planning to side the house next year.)
