So it's a mini-Sorento then, not surprised.

Looks decent, but I find the styling tacky IMHO. To me it doesn't look like it will age well.

Looks better and more substantial than anything else in its class!

I like it.

Although that wide rear C/D pillar won't do much for outward visibility, I generally like the overall design.

It's definitely a very modern design, but not my preference personally. The front end, those wheels, and the tails looks tacky IMHO.

you think the rav4 is better (plain with RIDICULOUS spare wheel on back)?

Agreed....and, while it's nice to have a REAL spare tire instead of a temporary spare or donut, and having it on the back of the vehicle makes flat-tire-changes easier, that type of design can cause a LOT of damage to the rear end of the vehicle, even in a low-speed rear-impact. It doesn't take much of a tap to completely shatter the whole glass/rear-door assembly.

I never said the Rav4 was better. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of any current compact crossovers in terms of styling. The Rav4 to me looks less tacky than this new Sportage, even if it's a more outdated and bland design.

i'm sorry, but new sportage destroys both CRV and Rav4 in 'look's department. but i still like Rav4 alot. it's roomy, functional, and it just gets the job done. i almost bought one. i chose santa fe slightly over Rav4 because it was slightly roomier and hyundai gave me a tremendous deal i couldn't refuse.

Anything destroys the CR-V. It is one of the ugliest vehicles on the road I don't care what anyone says. The Rav-4 is much better.

I will wait to see in person but this does look good to me. Great job Kia

CRV was very weird looking when it came out. i got used to it though because it's friggin everywhere. i never thought it would grow on me.

anyway, i know a guy in Antigua and he bought a loaded CRV for 125k EC. about $47,000. lol

It looks nice though some of the elements look a little oversized, and the proportions could be better. It honestly looks a lot like Suzuki Grand Vitara meets VW Tiguan, IMO.

Also, you can chalk me up as one who thinks the Rav4 is more attractive, especially with the appearance package:

Chalk me up as one that liked the current CRV the first day I saw it (yes that's rare here, but it happens to be best selling SUV in the US). On-topic this Sportage looks like an improvement.
