for anyone looking for a new notebook who doesn't want an apple I thought this was pretty cool and nice looking as well. I think it would be a great christmas gift for a car enthusiast
The somewhat odd tie-up between laptops and supercars has taken another step forward with Acer's latest Ferrari One Notebook released just in time for the holiday season.
This time around the package is an 11.6-inch notebook PC utilizing the same exquisite details and performance principles celebrated by Scudetto Ferrari, which Acer is also a sponsor of.
Power comes from an AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processor running at 1.8 Ghz and it runs on Windows 7 Home Premium. It comes standard with 4 GB of memory, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200 graphics card, a 250 GB hard drive and twin built-in speakers.
The notebook should get about five hours of battery life out of its six-cell lithium-ion battery, and it weighs in at 3.3 pounds.
Despite its generous equipment and the Italian style, pricing for Acer’s Ferrari One Notebook comes in at a reasonable $599.99. The unit is on sale now and comes with a one-year limited warranty.
