Does a car's smell influence your purchase decision?
I loooove new car smell. the smell of fresh leather, plastic, and adhesives is intoxicating . I remember my car kept that smell for about a year then it faded and now it only smells like leather conditioner and Gucci cologne

It absolutely impacts my decision. One of my employees bought a brand new vehicle and immediately started smoking in it - boggles my mind. I would never buy a smoker's vehicle and as an ex-smoker (although I smoked 1.5 packs/day, none were ever in my house or cars) - I can instantly tell if it was smoked in, in spite of dealer's best attempts to hide it.
