HS250h Pricing (Canada)
So... anyone else annoyed at the way Lexus Canada priced (and packaged) the HS250h?
For starters, heated seats isn't standard (but leather is) and it starts at $39,900.
Secondly, the Ultra Premium Package gets LED headlights and automatic high beam function. No IPA, DRCC, PCS or LKA and it costs $49k.
By comparison, a loaded Camry Hybrid with nav/leather/moonroof etc is $35k and a loaded Prius (solar roof, DRCC, PCS, IPA, nav, heated seats) is $36.5k

The Ford Fusion Hybrid, IMO (if it is available in Canada), is a better choice than either a Prius or HS. The Prius has a superb hybrid drivetrain, but the new 3Gen model has geeky styling and flimsy sheet metal/interior materials....much worse than the 2Gen model. The HS250 has a much more solid body, a more conventional interior, and better-quality interior materials than the Prius, but its drivetrain is not well done, and cannot match either the Prius or the Fusion hybrid in that regard. The Fusion Hybrid seems to have the best of both worlds....good reliability, solid build quality inside and out, and a well-done hybrid drivetrain to boot.

see above. For other provinces, add PST to CDNRockies' final price.

no matter how you look at it, this car is not worth what they are charging. This is a trendy car for yuppies in big cities, and retirees that have summer homes and hit the golf course 4 times a week
