100 km in a 30 zone.

As for highway I don't go that crazy 160 km / 100 mph (max) ... so thats like 1.6x for highway

I have seen a video where a dude in 911 turbo runs from the cops and got away. They took it to 199mph. It was awesome to see someone actually get away from the cops , then again we dont really know what happens when they get rolled on by helicopters

This reminds me of a number of years ago when they built the new Coquihalla highway in BC. The RCMP relayed a story in a criminology class a friend was taking about a speed trap they had set up.

A new Viper flew through well above the speed limit...so they sent one of the Mustang 5.0 chase cars after him....Mustang blew it's engine as the Viper cleared 300 km/hr....lol. At that point they sent the helicopter up to follow as a spike belt would have been an instant death sentence at that speed. No car is fast enough to outrun a radio.

Some people have more ***** than brains.

Safety is job number one, at least for the driver.

All I know is that if I got a 200+ mph speeding ticket I would have to have the ticket framed professionally

Just had a guy got a ticket for doing 150mph in a BUICK!!! I didn't want to believe it when they said he was driving a Buick, but according to the newspaper account, the cop said there was no doubt about it. If I were him I'd get a good lawyer and beat the offense since all Buick's top speed is electronically governed to what...65 MPH??? (:

Oh, the guy was also drunk, no...not the cop who claims the driver was doing 150MPH in a Buick! (:
