SCION debuts 2011 tC (pg.4)
that way a nice boost in power is as simple as a different SC pulley ad some simple mods and a boosted motor can be made more fun. I think the option of forced induction from Toyota would be great for a brand like Scion that is loved by tuners and the younger customers
The headlights are very similar to the euro Accord/TSX. The rear... an acquired taste. It's very domestic looking (think Chrysler 300/Dodge Magnum). So a step forward and back- we're back where we started, LOL.
2.5L seems very likely since it's the current power plant in the Camry. 6MT also is logical since the Camry's manual option is a 6-speed. It will be interesting to see if it will also get the 6AT, or if it will get a 5AT.
It's doubtful to see another supercharger, IMO. With number crunching being a very likely scenario @ Toyota right now, previous model S/C sales will seal this one's fate. The price point of the complete kit prices it out of most buyer's hands. However, seeing a factory Supercharged 1.8L (Corolla/xD Dual VVT-i) would be awesome~ but I'm sure they ruled it out quickly as a simple pulley upgrade would cause some catastrophic issues.

That's what I was thinking. It's really not cool to go to a tuner meet and have someone chide you for having the same engine as a Camry.

Oh but they know how to make a minivan look sporty with tons of "swagger"
Honda has ugly designs, and Toyota seems to recycle theirs.
