eeewwww, is that the SC mascot or something?............gag.

I'm not saying have 4 or 5 year life cycles. I'm saying UPDATE the car after 5, instead of 10, years. Keep the same design with minor upgrades, but throw in the new engine and new transmission. I have no problem with a 10 year life cycle if they update the car. BMW 6 series has a 10 year life cycle. But they put in a new engine and new transmission at the midpoint.

Whe should have had the SC460 with the 380 HP V8 from the LS460 and the 8 speed tranny around 2007 already. It would be selling much better if it did too.

No doubt the SC is pretty dated and it's got really poor sales to prove it. About time for next version, IMO. Not seeing the value in an update at this point.

obviously not at this point since it has like 18 months left...but 2,5 years ago they should have put the 4.6 liter V8 and the 8 speed tranny from the LS460 in it. Sales would be MUCH better if they had.

These cars usually have 10 year life cycles (MB SL until recently, 6 series, Jaguar XK). But they all get new engines and new transmission after 5-6 years, which keeps the sales strong for the second half.

I really don't know why Lexus did not make the SC460 2-3 years ago.
