It was NEVER getting the can, I told you this since day one.
Listen to your Lexus elders
Exactly
Don't act so surprised when the car sticks around, while so many people here have been telling you it isn't going anywhere. The SC, just like the last gen, is on a 10-ish year life cycle. Just because it's old doesn't mean it's ready to be set out for trash collection.
These "SC IS DEAD!" rumors are the automotive equivalent of tabloids. Do you people believe in Big Foot, Skunk Apes, Chupacabras*, Aliens, and Loch Ness too?
*I actually do believe in Chupacabras, not gonna lie
A trip through Palm Springs will reveal where those 100 per month sales go. This car needs to die and come back as something worthy of the G37. They did it with the first SC, they can do it again.
I wonder who will buy it, considering that the IS350C trumps it in every way (except the very subjective opinion on looks)?
The IS350C has better power, gas efficiency, handling and performance, cargo room, passenger room, technology, amenities, and a spare tire; all the while being $20k less.
One could say the same thing with the Toyota Sequoia and the Toyota Landcruiser.
The Sequoia has more room and a base Sequoia can be had for far less than a Landcruiser.
The next gernation SC will trump/blow away the IS 350C. We just have to be patient.
I just hope there is a next generation SC. What's with the 10 year life cycles? Why can't they update it after 5 years? Put the newer 380 horse V8 engine in it, instead of the decade old 280 horse V8 from the LS430. 2010 should be the last year for this model though. They need to make the next one a real 6 series competitor.

Chupacabras are real, they have captured and killed a bunch of them by now. They showed it on monster quest.

4 or 5 year life cycles are too expensive (Honda used to do them in their heyday), but obviously a 10 year life cycle is almost certain slow death.
eeewwww, is that the SC mascot or something?............gag.
