Default Is350c or sc430 ?

I know this is a apples and oranges comparison but I'm thinking of trading up from a 2003 SC430 to a 2010 or newer IS350C.

For those of you who have gone from the SC430 to the IS350C do you have any regrets.

I looooove my SC430 but I also like the bigger rear seats and newer technology in the IS350C

Your thoughts ?

TIA

Build quality will be a heck of a lot better on the SC then the newer is. That's all I'm gonna say

I'd do it. The SC look pretty nice (I see quite a few out there) but to me they're starting to look a bit dated. The 2010 is much faster than the SC even if it is a V8 as well as better gas mileage and the new tech inside will outweigh compared to the SC. Also love the way the 2nd gen IS looks as well.

It's pretty debatable. If I had a sc430, I would try to get my hands on a Japanese v-version kit with some job design quad exhaust. If I had a is350c, I would get the aimgain kit! Both are super nice to mod. I personally own a 2IS so I would lean on the is350c just because of the similar body lines. If I had money and ways of getting the Japanese v-vision kit, I'd definitely keep the sc430

if i had an 2SC then i'd try to keep it while getting the car that i (you) clearly want, the is350c.

the isx50c's build quality isn't poor at all. it doesn't have the higher price point (adjusted for slight inflation) that the sc had, so build materials won't be as nice, but quality? the isx50c's pretty solid.

Both real solid cars, but as far as new technology goes and looks, I would go with the nwer ISC.

Go with the 2IS; you'll wonder why you didn't make the change earlier!

I'd definitely get the IS. You can't keep the SC too? We have a '93 Soarer and while I like it because of the rarity here in the stated it is very much outdated. VERY. lol It is comfy though...I'll give it that.

The SC430 is more compact than an SC 300 lol. And length wise my SC is barely much longer than my ISF. The SC430 can look very clean modded and gotta love the V8 rumble. But I would recommend the newest 430 you can get.

the IS350C doesnt have much of a back seat to say the least. Definitely more than the SC but you can barely fit a person back there. The IS would probably offer better maintenance and and affordability due to it being closely related to the sedan ISx50's. The SC is a rarer car as you dont see many on the street so easier to get a one of a kind car. I also kind of feel like the SC430 was built for wealthy men's housewives based on its styling (although there are some really nice tastefully modded 430's out there.)

If it was up to me, I would get an IS-C as the car is still available on the market unlike the discontinued SC430 that was discontinued 4 years ago.

The SC is an awesome car. It rides super smooth compared to the IS. The newer IS will have better technology compared to the SC due to it being rather newer. It all depends on you. I have an IS350 and I'm loving it.

I don't see it as that much of a rare car, I practically see a few in a month where I live. They are pretty cool looking cars (Porsche like) but at the same time looks pretty outdated. When I first saw one and didn't know exactly what it was and my first reaction was, "that's a pretty cool car" then my second reaction was "looks old."

Really?! Is the ISF longer than the IS? Because the Soarer seems humungous compared to my car.

EDIT: And I'm a retard I don't know why I thought the OP was talking about an SC400 the whole time HAHA.....big difference.
