Isn't that IS the one with the stroked and bored out 2GR-FSE engine? The one that had the video with glowing headers? Does anyone know where I can find that video?

looks like a JGTC car , but its not called the JGTC anymore

 

The JGTC is now Super GT.

 

The GT500 SCs now run 3.4L V8 RV8KG race engines(ran UZ engines before).

I know the GT300 MR-S and the Corolla used 2GR engines. Can't recall if the IS use the same or 3.0 RV engines. The category is limited to 300hp anyway, so I don't think there would be a need to stroke and bore the 2GR if it is in fact used.

I checked, they do indeed use the 3.0L V8 RV8J race engine (NA)

 

damn those rear side splitters on the IS could kill someone
