The New M is gorgeous inside, and out, and will be a grand slam for Infiniti. But looking at these pics, one can wonder what they'll do next for the G. If they make a G56, I don't know what I'll do w/ myself.
Do you what "road presence" is?

Based on Lexus newest products I wonder what we can expect, style-wise, from the next GS. I think the current GS still looks good (it's aged much more gracefully than the M) but some of Lexus' most recent designs aren't very encouraging (RX, HS).

The interior and the power are enough for me to love this car. I really like the exterior though there are a few things I think they could have done differently. LLN has a few pics not posted here and one is of the front end straight on and the grille just looks HUGE. I really am not one for a big, in your face grille, and that is more or less what they have done here. I also find the rear end a bit weak, but at least it's attractive.

Overall I really think they did a wonderful job.

Rear quarters are bloated and grannyesque (same on the G). Dark stripes on leather seats make them look dirty.

Lexus will have to seriously step up in design, interior, & power for the 4th gen GS to keep up with this car. The M56 makes me more curious as to what Lexus will do with the new GS. It would not suprise me for Lexus to bring out another weak (conservative) version of the GS. I really hope I'm wrong!
GS400 ?? 340hp
GS460 ?? 380hp
GS F 480 ?? 450hp mininum
I don't think lexus would give these cars that much power.

well, they gave the IS-F 416 HP... I would n't be surprised if they gave the GS- F line at least 450hp. Not only is Lexus competing with infiniti but probably MB AMG as well. One can think that with the GS-F with 450-480HP that would be one competetive class. The magazines would be all over this trio in a heart beat..

I've actually been looking at 06/07 m35 and m45 models. I think next year i may do something( car wise ). I luv the GS but a 10 year old car is a 10 year old car. The interiors in the newer cars just blow me away. On another note the exterior of the GS with its lines and curves can still keep up with todays newer cars.

Car is exquisite. Elegant and beautiful, while aggressive and daring. Lexus and Acura should be taking notes for the GS and RL.

infiniti needs to work on their front 1/4 angle appearances. they all have droopy butt.

i like the non-sport package (below) front end better than the sport version.

I totally agree, and this ruins it for me. Droopy butts are more for boutique cars like J30, older Jag XJ6's, and el cheapo mid-90's Altima. No junk in the trunk = weak.

I guess "droopy butt" is a matter of preference. I don't mind it at all. In fact, I kind of like it on some cars - CLS, SC, this M, etc.

Well after further review I can only speculate excitement is from the M56 engine and the fact fans are from a product starved brand. Its really okay, not this lovely artwork some are clamoring about. I honestly don't get a feeling of luxury from it, seems like a old buick, Elantra with squigly lines. Its not ugly at all but honestly I am not let down and will have to wait to see in person. On the other hand the interior while busy to me, is very nicely done and will please those that need more wood in their cars.

Not really feeling it at all in M35 trim and overally meh. Maxima for me please from an exterior standpoint. Its funny when people post pics of a M, they go straight to the old M45 with sport kit and now they ONLY POSTED pics of the black M56. Be fair, post pics of BOTH cars. Post pics of a stock M35.

Whats up with the 4 spoke steering wheel? 3 spokes please.

Interestingly, the last gen had paddle shifters too (but only for the JDM models and was only restricted to '350 GT and 450 GT Type SP' variants).

Just some FYI there
