Official Infiniti Q70 (M37/56) thread
I am not sure if exterior wise its a "Fair" comparison because the GS is a 4-5yr yr old design, like the 5 series. The E is the only newly designed competitor in this focus group analysis so im sure that played a little role in peoples opinions on styling. Im not glorifying the E's styling though i think it is average but still i feel styling wise there would be a little bias.
The new M will sell a lot better for sure. Though Im very confident the next GS and 5 series will be a homerun by lexus and BMW nonetheless

this car is getting rave reviews all over the web based on the only pics of the interior/exterior.
and judging by the size of this thread on a LEXUS forum, a lot of ppl are happy with how it evolved over the previous gen.
we'll see if this translates to better sales for the M.

Well, if this are what it really is going to look like, I like it.
Looks like an oversized G35 sedan but that's a good thing since the G's look nice. Interior looks top notch. Infiniti does it again.

lexus has yet to come out with a product that is as exciting and highly discussed on multiple car forums.
infiniti has generated mega buzz with the Essence, and a little less with this M.

The 2GS and IS 300, SC 430 and 4LS and made huge spashes years ago....not sure why you have to compare it to Lexus, can't we just say "hey its gotten a good buzz".

i should qualify what i said.
in the last 5 years, there hasn't been any mega buzz for a mainstream lexus sedan.
it has all been a big MEH. they're reliable and well built mostly. but they don't pique anyone's interest.
there hasn't been a lexus in recent times that has made me go "holy sht."
even when i first saw the LFA, i didn't go 'holy sht'. But for some reason, even though the Essence has a fish face, it made my jaw drop.

Wow, just noticed this thread now. The new M is really interesting.
There's some good angles and not so good ones. I'm not a big fan of "wavy" designs but some of it works here and gives it a muscular feel. Love the back more than the front. Great interior (design and craftsmanship).

A bit too curvy for my taste. Despite the new style, the exterior still carries the M bulk from the current model. The GS is a bit dated, but still looks more balanced to me.
The interior seems very aggressively styled, but it may have to grow on me.
