Lexus can have a awnser for the M, they have an aggressive enough R&D team to do so, I beleive the M will light a fire fo sho.

i don't see lexus responding this big. i bet a chunk of their money is going on a better 2nd gen hybrid GS to be unique.

 

also, i see this more as bmw 5/7 series competition and i think it will be priced to match too.

i understand, and i'm not opposed to curves as such, but that new M has TONS of curves in all directions to the point that it just looks too busy.

that's plain, but the armrest and top dark part still seem to be randomly curved.

 

One weakness that Nissan usually has with their interior designs is the door trim. But this one is wonderful.

 

Bit (Paul) - You're right. M is gonna be a BMW 5/7 Fighter. Looks like Lexus is taking on MB as their main rival.

I dont have my hope up that GS will answer this M in any meaningful way....I hope I am wrong. The M is very nice........I think L finesse is heading in the wrong direction, if the LS refresher pic is for real, it is seriously in the wrong direction....The new RX is so so IMO.....In all honesty, I just dont see the point of the GS hybrid....I think unless it has serious MPG advantages, the argument of providing more performance for less emissions / same amount of fuel consumption IMO is lame. I think the GS-hybrid should be put to rest, bring on the GSF or GS500 with real *****...aggressive kits / rims / brakes / performance package from the factory.....heck make the gs350/gs370 or whatever the base car and gs500/gsf the monster....

Lexus is too practical-minded to put out a monster GS just because infiniti did. but it may put out after the LF-A hits the market.

as more proof that lexus doesn't give a crap what other people do........ lexus hasn't even built a true coupe yet.

 

Looks very good both inside and out. It seems to me this mid-large luxury sports sedan class probably is the best looking class of vehicle.
