The Acura Legend is what put Acura on the map for me. I loved this car. In my mind its cars like this that we will want to buy at classic auto auctions in another 20- 25 yrs

i would love to own this car. Is so hard to even find a Legend nowdays, especially the much sought after coupe; even tho it will need a Head Gasket soon. IIRC, this car had a frequent prob with blowing them. I still want one tho.

As long as the car didn't overheat in the past the HG should be more than good enough to last 200K. I've had 3 of these cars as well as a bunch of friends locally who have them and none had the so called Headgasket problem. All of the cars have 150K+ miles on them. It is still a concern though, but the C block engine has been the base engine in many different Honda/Acura cars and is a solid engine.

Headgasket problem was more likely if the cooling system wasn't maintained that well. Lots of people neglect replacing their coolant. Just like oil, they dont last forever so you do have to change it out.
