XD HID Kit...Installed...FINALLY. LOL
Well i set to work on my mod nite...Sunday. The civic now has HID's. The 4300K kit from Xenon Depot made it really easy. I didnt take any install pix, cause i didnt think you guys were interested in how to install PnP HID's on an 06 Civic...
But heres some pix...

No, the glare is pretty low...i was suprised myself. Apparently the Housings on the 8th Gen Civic's are better suited for HID's than for halogens. I will never have another car with halogens again. If i thought for a second the electrical system on the cavalier would handle it, i would do it on that too, but its 12 years old and not worth the several hundred dollars for a retrofit...plus it has the stupid textured lenses...not sure what the technical name for it is, but almost all cars from the mid nineties have them.
Looking good! I saw a guy mod his Civic with LEDs around the high beam... 3 or 4 bulbs parallel to the inside (i.e. towards the grille) of the high beam section... sorta like Audi but not at the bottom (hope that makes sense). I thought that looked pretty good.
Ill do a far off shot tonite.

Hmm... maybe it's just the pics but the shot pointed at the headlight itself looks like halogen to me.
The after pics of the beam itself look whiter but then again you're right up against a garage door whereas before you were backed way up... not really a good comparison shot. Go back and do it again!
All the xenon equipped vehicles I've owned had a very distinctly white light both with the headlight and with the light pattern

Hi,
The 4300k kit will offer you a very bright white output. You may get a slight yellowish tinge depending on what angle you view the light from though.
Here are some more pics of our 4300k kit installed in a reflective headlight:
