R8 is a great car and extremly sexy, and I know it shares almost the same engine and transmation with the gallardo. But, Audi will always be audi to ppl and will never be Lambo in ppl eyes. The same thing with the CL MB.

while yes the R8 will still be an Audi i think its a little different than the CL is with mercedes because there is a noticable difference between the R8 and most of the cars audi makes, where as with the CL its not as noticeable with most people

I think he is referring to the fact that Lambo was bought out by Audi and the fact that the Gallardo uses an Audi made V10 along with there know how in Aluminum spaceframing. Compared the Lambos of the generation before it has done nothing but strengthen the brand. IMO I dont consider it a negative at all.

I read somewhere that no more than 20% of the Gallardo is Audi sourced, most of it stuff you cant see. The Murci on the other hand is still based on the chassis that underpinned the Countach and the engine is the same from the Miura (obviously with updates).

CL65 hands down. Its a mans car. The gallardo, although beautiful, is made for dwarfs and midgets .lol Have you guys actually sat in one before?? WOW that thing is small. My friend had a yellow 2006 with custom wheels. Its amazing just to look at it, but I would ditch it for the ultimate bezo autobahn bomber. I saw that thing on a show on the sped channel and it was killing cars at the 1/8 th mile drag track. It finanlly lost to a full on drag car, but damn that thing is baller. I am 6'5" and the CL65 is the only car that I have ever sat in where I need to move the seat up. Its made for basketball players. Hence the term , true ballers car.( because they fit)
