I'd just get a CL550 and LS460L.

Well without reading all thru the replies I will just answer like this:

CL65 without thinking twice.

Why?

I'm 38 and unless I can afford more than one exotic (I consider the CL65 an exotic too) I need one that is "practical". The Gallardo is nice and a looker for sure and hauls a ss. But the Merc will get noticed by "those who appreciate what it is", haul just as much a ss and with a 3 additional occupants at that!
The new bodystyle is simply perfection: sexy, strong, sleek, and timeless as was it's prior model. I would also say the CL65 is even more rare than the Lambo. I got up close and personal with a Black/Black CL65 and this car is perfection and practicality on wheels... period!

If I was limited in choice between the two, I'd get the Gallardo...you only live once so might as well.

But for $200,000, I'd choose an Aston Martin DB9 around ~$190,000 w/ about 40ish miles. Then splurge on other things with the $10,000 or go cheap and get a Maserati GranTurismo.

If I pay that much I want a car that can do everything, and that is the 65.

I Looooooooooooooove Aston Martins but even it would have to be the ultra-rare DBS over the CL65. I don't think one can appreciate this car without driving it. Which i haven't but I have driven the last gen CL 65 and even it is crazy quick!

Iam not in Miami so i do not care. plus, GT-R is big no. They cancel your warrenty when you use the launch button. basiclly, if you try to use the power you lose your waranty, simple as that. What kinda scam is this.

maybe frm HS boys

600+ hp & 700lbs/ft trq in a V12 twin turbo....vs 500hp V10? nuff said

CL65 FTW, I have always wanted big bulky coupes and I have always thought that the SC is somewhat of similar size. Boy was I wrong ...drove next to one (non amg) and the thing is freaking huge!!! I can see how a Gallardo may be more fun, but to me refinement is where it's at...plus Gallardo is the civic or supercars anyways, every rich guy has one

That's what I'm questioning. Maintenance and reliability are two separate things. I think we hear more about the CL because there are more of them than Gallardos. It's not every day you see a Gallardo unless you live in beverley hills

Rashed, You are paying over $200,000 . The fact is MB will always be MB no matter what. Thats how ppl jugde it

You would really go with CL65 for daily driving over getting a Lambo?

Good point, But you do not want to be visiting the dealership at the end of everyother weekend, or at lease thats what I heard from most of ppl .
