Buying a CPO
What about a nice camry and you can get it new with plenty of features, 29k for a CPO is
I've seen the CPO cars and they look new, plus your saying the IS is a loaner, all the loaners I've seen the owners suddenly turn into rednecks for a day once they get behind the wheel, you would think they never drove a nice car in their life

Well if its a CPO there are certains things they HAVE to adhere to (clean Carfax, body panels match, pass mechanical inspection etc no sure about paintwork though) or it cant be certified. So I think your ok in that regard.
With respect to paint chips on front I'd be surprised if they did anything for that or they would likely have one of the roving parking lot painters do it, it would be alot cheaper than what your asking as discount.
So you say rental, I assume you mean for that dealer? If so I wouldnt be too concerned but I'd also look it over VERY carefully for body and trim for other issues than the rock chips. Mechanically I think your all good.
