The problem is the lease rates really suck on the S5/A5's. They both (fully equipped) lease for as much as an LS460 goes for.
The S5 is my number one next car to get but between the bad lease rates and the 6 - 9 month wait..........I kind of doubt I will do it.
I'm sure the lease rates and availability issues will work themselves out eventually.
It's a hot car. There's always crap to go through when something is new and hot. It can actually increase the desire. Dealers play on stuff like that.

Yeah I know the rates will get better, but on this car.........When ? I My GS300 lease is up in March, so if I want one I had better order up in the next month or so.
This car has been sold out almost a year now and no relief in sight. Audi is keeping the supply low while the demand is high. Meanwhile you can now get discounts on the M3's which I am sure will sell a lot more than S5's and A5's combined.
