Exclamation Why do Honda/Acura owners....

seemingly be the only morons with their highbeams on all the time??

the Apocalypse

What kind of crap is this? What amazes me is its not even just modded ones, mostly STOCK Honda/Acuras and the driver has their beams on?

The new trend seems to be the TL, which I damn near see daily with beams on. Maybe they don't know what HIDs are. I don't know. The old RL check. Accord check. Civics old and new, check.I even have seen not one but TWO Odyessys with ladies in them with high beams?

Is it some Honda fraternity thing or ricer initiation?

S2000 nope, they have sense. NSX, nope, they have sense.

RSX or Integra with the quad lamps, HIGH BEAMS ON.

If you want to flame me, fine tickle your fancy. I would like someone to EXPLAIN THIS CRAP TO ME.

I am puzzled. I actually asked another forum hoping to get answers but they seemingly think having high beams on all the time is cool.

Now if they were in a Ferrari or even say a Benz CLS, hey, put your high beams on, good looking, awesome cars.

These are some of the blandest or ugliest cars on the planet. No one wants to see you. Turn your lights off and we would prefer yall park and ride the damn bus.

Rant over. I already had a thread showing the tons of them that can't seem to park between lines. This is my 2nd threas and my final thread about these morons will come soon after I finish logging all the hundreds of pics of Hondas/Acuras in the got damn fast lane. MPG my ***!!!!!

Honestly, I haven't noticed that. Most people here rarely use their high beams at all. The horn and high beams seem to get little use here in my state. The horn is fighting words, the high beam not sure why people rarely use it, but I too almost never use it myself.

For me, it's not the fact that their high beams are on. It's the fact that they put HID kits into reflective housing headlights and cause terrible glares also. I can tell when a ricer with some cheap aftermarket HID kit with 10,000K bulbs is half a mile behind me.

You know what is worse is when the trucks and SUVs do this. Man, that is blinding since the light is so high at or slightly above eye level. Shines directly into the car.

I don't care what brand car you have even if it's a Ferrari there's never an excuse to drive with highbeams on unless you're in an unlit area with no other cars around you.

I've noticed the most if not all TL-S drivers are jackasses.

Never noticed it. If anything, it's the Priuses around here that are horrible. Their HID low beam reflector sucks donkey ***** and it glares like crazy.

+1 to the DRL's at night and the morons in trucks that lift them, put HIDs and blind everyone in front of them.

I see Lexus vehicles with TSX retros.. According to this thread, Acura/Honda lights cause create glare. Why would one put such lighting in their Lexus vehicle?

TSX and TL headlights are pretty bright. Sometimes i thought they have their highbeams on but they don't.

They also never use their turn signals.

Must be to prevent the battery from being drained, considering that the car is clad with aftermarket lighting mods...
