A "starter car" for a 16yo under $7K
I don't believe in that stereotype and image nonsense. Miatas, like everything else on four wheels, are for anyone, male or female, who likes them and can afford one.
I just wanted to complete this thread and close it by saying.. YES I found the car this past weekend. Its a Honda Civic Hybrid. The only change I'll make to the car is the wheels... gotta upgrade that crappy wheels to a 17"
Sure I lose like 2mpg.... but at 44mpg, that's not a huge loss. And this car will last quite a while. The best of all worlds - reliable, gas frugal, young and hip/cool Civic. My daughter will be pleased.
Thanks to all for your comments, thoughts and suggestions. You make this forum so helpful to everybody
