I think either the V1 or the Escort 9500i, both of them works really well.....

 

+1 for the Escort.

 

Most consider Valentine One to be the best detector available. Still Escorts are very good also.

 

i think Valentine One may be up there with the best of them. don't they pay your ticket for you if you happen to get one? or was that just a rumor several years ago when i had the need for one?

valentine 1 hands down, i have both V1 and escort, escort doesn't even come close to the awesomeness of V1.

my V1 was stolen before and I bought another one the day after.

 

V1 is good, but Escort 8500 x50 is a very good alternative. I absolutely love it, especially how it picks up signal around close corners Keep in mind, you will hear a lot of car "break in" stories from V1 users. V1, portable NAV, and iPod are the “hottest” stolen car items.

 

I've been using a V1 since '99...saved me countless times.

 

none...jurisdictions are widely adopting laser (lidar) which give no warning....only thing to combat those are jammers

The reviews I've read on jammers are not very positive.

Can't live w/out the arrows on the V1. Then again, Lidar is becoming a standard for law enforcement. Though, how often will they step out of the car to use it unless it's toward the end of the month? If they're patrolling while in motion, chances are, their radar unit is activated which V1 is very good at catching.

 

i'd go with the Escort 9500i or the Beltronics STI. good reviews on both..
