Default What Lexus?

I'm in a state of what should I get right now... I'm looking into getting another car and I have 3 candidates: LS400 UCF-10, GS300-400 2ndgen, or SC300-400 1stgen, I'm getting one of them and fix it up nice and clean.

What should I look for when looking at these cars? Since they have age and most of the owners lack the knowledge or time to maintain it.

I'm leaning more towards the LS or SC in terms of the "easy to find cheap" factor and the look is simply classic, I'm having a hard time looking for a GS without the overpriced sticker price.

I would look into a 2000 LS400. Why? Because most LS owners in general tend to be older in age and tend to maintain them with regular oil changes, tuneups, etc. GS & SC owners tend to be younger and well, they are much more sport-oriented and more likely to have been abused a bit. They also tend to be higher in mileage in the used market (at least that's my experience). If I were you, I would go for a low-mileage, well maintained 98-00 LS 400.

I've owned a 93 SC400 and a 99 LS400. By far the updated engine with more HP and 5-Speed trans is worth it. Therefore, I'd look for either a 98+ LS400 or a 98+ SC400. Both of those cars will have the 290HP and 5-Speed auto.

The 98-00 LS400s cost 8-11grand, I could get an LS430 with a few dings for that price. I'm specially interested in 2 LS's, the LS400 UCF-10 and LS430 UCF-30, I'm going to try and hit 500,000miles or more with it and want to know if Toyotas really last a long time...

The other 2 (GS 2ndgen and SC1stgen), well... If I get them, I'll make them ridiculously fast if their engines blow out suddenly using a 2JZ-GTE mated with a 6-speed MT and LSD.

Where is the best place/people to get it from? (I'm from Vegas, I can't seem to find one in a nice mechanical condition and have the usual prices in SoCal.)

How would I know about its maintenance? (most people say the timing belt is replaced, but forgot the pulleys and water pump) And, may I know the usual MPGs for these cars when properly maintained or if I replace every worn item in some engine lacking maintenance?
