VANs
Chris I think you got unlucky or something. I have friends with the same 7th gen civics (coupes) and they drive and feel like new. No panels are falling apart and the headliner is certainly still attached
Rarely do I see a case of a newer honda having its panels fall off. The only time we had a honda not holding up as well is when our hondas are almost 15 years old. Then again, our Toyotas fall apart too

Yeah, must've been a bad batch....I saw at least 5 other civics with the rear headliners hanging down.
But the biggest let down is the driver's door.
My mom has an '05 Honda Odyssey with over 50k miles on it and she has never had any problems what-so-ever. I've driven it before and it is a nice ride, with pretty good pick-up for a minivan. We've taken it to Key West, Orlando, Tampa, and God knows where else in Florida and it's been a comfy ride all the way each time, plus it has alot of interior space
... I'm only 20, unmarried and no kids, so I'm not thinking of getting a van anytime soon, but when the time comes, I'll be checking out the Hondas first ...
When it comes to vans this is the top dog to get. I never thought the R Class was all that until I rode in one, let me tell you I was impressed. The car is very spacious even in the 3rd row seat I would say it has a little more leg room than a S class and most of all it drives like a Benz and not like a mini van.
I am also in the market for a people hauler and this is the one I am setting my mind on.

I have to agree with you. My uncle in New Jersey has an R500 with the AMG appearance package and after riding in it several times I came away very impressed with the ride quality and unbelievably huge interior space. The cabin was also well isolated from the outside world meaning it was quiet. In terms of comfort I would give it an 11/10: it's that good.
I'm not a fan of the styling, but with the AMG appearance package it looks pretty stunning. The ride comfort is amazing. Probably right up there with an S class.

You can create extra space inside an R class by folding and compacting the the rear seats. I can even do this in my C class.
Got a chuckle that the front license plate is chopped out - as if someone would steal that monstrosity, or maybe the owner doesn't want anyone to find out they own it.
R-Class: Interior Cargo Volume w/Seats Folded 42.2 cu.ft. interior cargo volume w/seats folded
Odyssey: Interior Cargo Volume w/Seats Folded 91.1 cu.ft. interior cargo volume w/seats folded
My beach cruiser fits inside the Odyssey standing up with the handlebars at their regular adjustment. With my brother's classic Schwinn, we do have to fold the handlebars. Actually, I put both cruisers in there with the middle seats still in place! One cruiser won't fit in the R-Class even lying on its' side!
I like the R-Class (ours has the Brabus lowering kit and 22x10" & 22x11" wheels), but don't try this with one!
The R-Class does look pretty dope fixed-up. We call it "The Hearse."

R class is just paying for the MERCEDES badge, I rather cough up my dough on a GL, but its not pratical for me to spend too much $$$$ on a car right now.
WOW! You sure can haul a lot of stuff in the Ody. . .
