Default What was your 1st car

My first car was a 87 Nissan 300zx. Black with charcoal leather int. with the digital dash. I paid $4000 for it by the money I made working at Food Lion I bought it in the summer of 93. Talking about picking up the females. To this day I still considered that car my favorite car I ever owned.

1999 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24

Contrary to popular assumption that it is a cheap pos econobox, it was running like a brand new car when I bought it with 100k highway miles on the odometer

Mine was a 79 Mustang free from a family friend during my Junior Year in HS in 88. By my senior year, I had an Alpine deck with top of the line Alpine EQ and CD changer, 10" Lanzar Subs, and Alpine amps, running Apline 5 1/4" coax up front and Coustic 6.5" in the rear. The system was probably worth 2-3X the cars value

I had a 1984 Saab 900 back in 1992 as a first car. It was in great condition. The ladies loved the Saab!

I remember having an Orion XTR12 in a 3 ft2 box that would rattle your teeth. Stuntin with bass grew old quick. I got over bass before I got out of high school.

1989 Nissan Sentra 2 door hand down. Bullet proof. In over 130k miles, only had to fix the exhaust. I honestly thought I would buy Nissans/Infiniti the rest of my life but when it was time to move up, Nissan/Infiniti had nothing outside the Maxima and old Q45 I liked.

My first car was a 1988 Chevrolet Nova. For people that don't know it is actually based on the Toyota Corolla. Similar in terms of the modern day Toyota Matrix\Pontiac Vibe. It was a hand me down from my parents, it was a great small car to drive around but it had no power! It was only powered by a 3 speed automatic I believe it was and had only 74 HP. I remember putting my parents 3-way home speaker into it , which actually helped the sound system give a bit of a kick. . However the car gave up for some reason in fall 05. When it retired it only had 64,000 miles on it. Besides that car I currently drive my father's two cars a 02 Nissan Pathfinder and a 01 Mazda MPV.

Honestly I don't know what got me into Lexus though, though I look threw my old car books I still have the Lexus full line brochure from 1996. When I finish college is when I plan to get my first Lexus.

My forst car was a 1985 VW Fox...4 Speed!

I called it a thinking man's car because the interior lights did not work and the car would short if the radio was turned on, not to mention I had to guess my speed because it always said it was doing 0mph!...
