What was your 1st car
1970 Volvo 145 station wagon.
Was great being in garage bands with a station wagon...lots of room for stuff!
The color was called "Ivory" but, it had little rust specks all over the place...and tons of oxidation...so, I fondly referred to the color as "Three-Day-Old-Bird-S$&T-White"...that's EXACTLY what it looked like.
It has 170,000 miles on it when I got it and it had 198,000 on it when I sold it...still running. The guy who bought it drove it to California and back..twice. Haven't seen it in 20 years but, if someone told me tomorrow that it was still on the road, I wouldn't be surprised. Bulletproof engine.

1972 Opel Kadett Rallye 2 dr cpe w/ 1.9ltr engine (90 bhp). Very driveable car and it was reliable. GM stopped importing it once they came up with its home grown replacement, the Chevy Vega
Wow, you guys are all pretty young. When i turned 15 i got my first car, a 10 year old 1967 cutlass. I then had a 1968 firebird 400 a very slick car, I sold it while i was still 15 bc a guy in town had one just like it and wanted to be the only one. I then got a REAL 1969 Trans AM. A very special and rare car.

that was my baby
