If the side views are like this, they shouldn't bother.

The interior appears to be exactly the same as the IS sedan, which is nice already. It seems this vehicle is not meant to supplant the SC 430. As it should, this is more of a mainstream interior for the IS market segment. The side profile pic also seems to match the IS convertible spyshot from a while back.

With the LF-A roadster looking so sweet, I was hoping that was the direction for the IS C. Although they never showed pics of the LF-A roadster with the top up, and they have the LF-A coupe version. Why not an IS coupe that doesn't have to make style concessions to the folding roof? Anyhow, the IS C side profile IMO is not as striking as the IS sedan's--at least from these pics There also seem to elements of SC 430 styling in the side profile, but it seems more squared off on the rear.

There are nice elements in and out, and in real life...on the show floor...we await those pics!

That rear end straight on is fantastic.

From the side, yuck, yuck yuck, way to long.

Not what I was expecting as the final product.

Edit, I guess I "should" be happy Lexus finally has another coupe

does anyone know why they aren't doing a REAL coupe?? i mean..this side view is pretty hideous..

a real coupe should have been out years ago when this car debuted..the sports coupe market is so strong..they are too conservative sometimes..i don't understand..

From these pics I am sorely disappointed

It does not look nearly aggressive enough, they lost the curves and the sex appeal of the sedan and replaced it with something that looks very squared off and slab sided. Overall it actually looks quite bland.

I was expecting something more dramatic and more aggressive. Visually, this looks more like a C70 competitor than a 3/G rival. The 3 series and G37 HT are far, far better looking and I would pick both over the ISc based on these pictures.

Overall I just don't think this does the IS name justice.

I would like to see a non-convertible version like this top pic:

Lexus styling is kinda unexpected lately, between the LX 570 to IS-F to IS-C...

The IS 250 C comes in a manual though...

This looks bland enough to have been the replacement for the Solara.

Many don't like the SC, but at least it's distinctive and upscale looking. This looks unLexus and even more unIS. Very boring.
