Revised 2009 Toyota Rav4
Looks good with the small revisions.
My wife has one and although the interior is love it or hate it, I don't know if you can find any cute-ute (under $30k) than can out accelerate or out handle it. I'd drive it more if there were more men driving them

I can fit in the 3rd row of a Mazda5. I cannot fit in the 3rd row of a RAV4 lol. (The new Highlander's 3rd row is comfy though)

PWI??
The CR-V is a abomination... I mean, Jasen of Friday the 13th fame wouldn't drive it.....

Then it has no *****. Its a fine SUV for shopping though. Amazing it sells so well, I bet it if was badged a Ford, or GM, it would rot....

LOL! No, I'm not drunk but, hey... if you think this:

Looks better than this:

Then perhaps you are!! JK

We all have our opinions and it is mine that the CR-V looks soooo much better. Performance is a different story.
In reality, I'm not much of a SUV/Crossover kind of guy.

hey guys...i dont think thats an update for the rav4 ....rather a different model out in japan...with different fenders and grill etc etc...i have seen this pic almost 6 months ago...in jap mag.
But my big pet peeves with the CR-V are [a] the taillight stack (I'm not a big fan of such design), [b] the overuse of plastic bottom portions of the front and rear bumper (looks like a cheap sneaker), and [c] the C-Pillar and rear window slant that tries to make the rear portion of the car "coupe streamlined" when it truly is a boxy station-wagon-like rear.
I have to agree with those who dislike the look of the CR-V. I've never liked the styling of the thing. Like a constipated frog in the front and a hiking boot from the back. The current RAV-4 looks better than the CR-V by my taste and the revisions, while not entirely successful, broaden the gap.
I prefer the Rav4's front end, but I like the CRV's rear end better. The Rav4 (in the pic above) has too many weird curves. It's the bulging taillights that gets to be. In fact, it's a distinct Toyota feature that I hate. One reason why I never liked the IS, Camry, new LX, etc rear end!!
