... The car is just not as confident inspiring as the 335. The steering is the problem imo. Feels artificial.. Performance wise, the 335 has the edge. The C63 AMG is indeed the problem solver if you want to take it a step beyond. Watch out Rs4, M3, Is-F!

 

Hmm on styling alone I like the C350. Its a pretty car. Come on now.. those doors can hold 200lb men!!

No comparison--BMW. Only reason to choose the MB is based on your own personal subjective decision on styling.

 

335i in a heartbeat...but with your comments i think you already decided

 

if it is the 335 sedan, the c350 looks better, and the interior is nicer,
but nothing else.
My vote goes to 335.

 

Tough choice IMO because both have some strong tradeoffs. The MB looks absolutely stunning compared to the BMW sedan (would be a totally different story if it was the 335i Coupe), but the BMW's performance absolutely kills the MB. Both do not have a great combination of good design and performance IMO. But I will have to go against the grain here and say the MB would be my choice if I was in your position simply because you have the Porsche 911 for when you want to have some fun. I would rather a comfortable car (with a little sport which is what the MB is) for my daily commute.

 

id go with the 335i myself.

 

Since you already have a 911 as a fun car, I vote for C350 as a dd.

 

Is something wrong with the CL database? I've seen this thread move to the top at least 4 separate times in the last 24 hours with a "Last post: (some new/recent time)", only to open up the thread and find the same exact post from yesterday around noon by RobertPA.

-comfortable
-newest design

-reliability (based on previous C class so it may have improved)
-speed (not as fast as competition)
