I'm pretty sure the euro-spec M3 CSL actually has the intake leading down to that hole to suck in more air for the engine..

I think the model Bit posted was just the US spec version with a different bumper--hence the lack of piping for the intake.

that's my guess as well, i thought they have the whole intake pipe down to the hole?
